With Social Distancing becoming the new normal the Skyline team have been working on creative ways to utilise Indoor plants to create the required social distancing between work stations for our clients offices, to assist in getting their workplaces up and running again in the safest possible way.
A number of our clients are having to reconfigure the layout of the workplace and workflows to provide the required social distancing practices to keep their employee’s as safe as possible during Covid-19. This provides the opportunity to creatively place planters, storage planters and the like to produce enough space between people so they can continue to work efficiently without breaking the social distancing requirements and enable workers to keep at least 1.5 meters apart where possible to reduce the exposure to micro-droplets of others. By utilising living barriers it gives you a more cost effective and less intrusive option to that of a permanent structure, in turn it allows you the flexibility to move and change the layout and environments with the changes occurring.
Not only is it a cost effective solution it holds health and productivity benefits as well. As the plants release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, this not only freshens up the air, but also eliminates harmful toxins. Studies have also proven that indoor plants improve concentration and productivity by up to 15%, reduce stress levels and boost your mood – making them the perfect option to utilise for the workplace changes that are required.
We would be more than happy to talk you through all the options you have utilising what you already have or creating new spaces if required as we move towards employees returning to the workplace.
