Battery powered equipment has always been better for the environment with zero emissions, reduced noise through lower decibels but traditionally the short battery life, low power output and limited commercial grade equipment range hampered their take up by contractors.
The new breed of battery powered mowers, hedgers, brushcutters, blowers and even work buggies has seen it grow as a viable option for Skyline to offer their clients. While still not as efficient as the traditional equipment the environmental benefits makes it perfect for working in and around schools, hospitals, aged care and any customers looking to meet an environmental target.
Skyline has also set up solar charging in our vehicle to further minimise the impact on the environment.
