Skyline Landscape Services has been recognised at the QLD Safe Work and Return To Work Awards, winning the category for Best Demonstrated Leadership in Return to Work. This category of the awards recognises outstanding leadership in rehabilitation and return to work practices implemented by an individual or organisation. As a closed category to entrants, the winner was decided on by an executive panel from the Office of Industrial Relations QLD.
Credit goes to Jacci Watson, WHS Advisor, for her continuous efforts in managing and supporting injured workers at Skyline and assisting them in returning safely to work or with suitable duties. Reducing workplace injuries and promoting a positive culture to prevent injury or ill-health is an important objective for Skyline, which is championed by Jacci.
The Safe Work and Return to Work Awards 2019 received 122 entries demonstrating excellence in work health and safety, electrical safety or injured worker rehabilitation and return to work.
Skyline were proud to be announced as finalists for the Safe Work and Return to Work Awards 2019 in 4 categories.
- Category seven – Injured worker achievement award
- Category eight – Best rehabilitation and return to work management system
- Category nine – Best individual contribution to rehabilitation and return to work
- Category ten – Best demonstrated leadership in return to work
